Racing Exhaust from JL for tuned Vespa Smallframe Engines. For powerful performance on the road or race track.
The VSP Race is one of the well-known exhaust systems for high-performance smallframe setups and has its roots directly in racing. In the 2006 season, the SIP/STOFFIS Racing Team took a significant step forward with the VSP Race. To this day, the Exhaust is a popular choice, especially for powerful old-school Cylinders. In addition to the uncompromising VSP Race, the VSP Road is also available as a variant suitable for everyday use, which offers similar characteristics but is quieter in the lower rev range, making it more suitable for off-track use.
- High performance for machined smallframe Engines
- Available as a race and road version for different applications
- Road version also suitable for models with side compartment
- Proven concept from racing
Performance with a racing background
The VSP Race comes directly from the sporting insert and continues to impress with its large volume and clear focus on top performance. It harmonizes particularly well with more heavily modified classics such as a higher-powered POLINI 130 cc or a MALOSSI 136. With the right peripherals, rear-wheel outputs of over 20 hp are possible. It is therefore clear that this system is aimed at ambitious setups that are intended to show their potential on the racetrack or in a consistently sporty riding style.
Two characters, one concept
The VSP Road is based on its big brother in terms of its characteristics, but has been noticeably toned down. It is significantly quieter, especially in the lower rev range, and is therefore more suitable for use on the road. Nevertheless, the increase in performance remains considerable. On a test scooter with a POLINI 133cc setup, a powerful 14 hp was achieved. The result is a combination that remains suitable for everyday use and is still very fast with the right gear ratio.
Also suitable for small frames with side compartment
A particular advantage of the VSP Road is its design as a left-hand Exhaust. This means it also fits scooter models with a side compartment. This is a real plus point, especially for ET3 models or similar smallframes, where large racing exhausts often fail due to the side compartment. This makes a sporty exhaust solution possible without having to sacrifice the typical vehicle look or function.
