MALOSSI Multivar Variomatic for automatic scooters, as an optimized tuning part for better acceleration, more torque and smoother running.
The Variomatic is the heart of the drive system of every automatic scooter and is one of the most effective tuning components in the scooter sector. An optimized Variator not only influences acceleration and traction, but also the shifting behavior and smooth running of the entire vehicle. This is precisely where the MALOSSI Multivar comes in and has been one of the best-known retrofit solutions for 2- and 4-stroke scooters for years.
- Optimized roller slideways for improved shifting performance
- Noticeably better acceleration and more torque
- High-quality materials and precise workmanship
The MALOSSI Multivar incorporates the Italian company's many years of experience in the automatic sector. By using different alloys for the individual components and optimally calculated roller slideways, the power loss of the Variomatic has been significantly reduced. The half pulley is manufactured from a silicon-aluminum alloy on high-precision CNC machines and then diamond-ground. PTFE-coated, self-lubricating Variator Rollers and a self-lubricating Sliding Bushing are also used. The result is an optimized shifting process, improved acceleration, slightly more top speed and an overall more harmonious power delivery. Depending on the model, the Multivar is available as a replacement or sports variator, with six or eight Variator Rollers and with or without a Vario spring.
The MALOSSI MHR Multivar 2000 is also available for some vehicles. MHR stands for MALOSSI HYPER RACING and identifies the version designed even more for performance. This sports and touring variator has been further optimized for racing use, is externally recognizable by its black coating and offers an extended and optimized working range compared to the standard Multivars. The Bushing is made of sintered metal and two sets of weights are usually supplied for individual tuning. The black Variator Cover is not supplied with some models, in which case the original Cap must continue to be used.
