These crankshafts were freshly conceived as part of the Casacase engine concept and possess a relatively wide mounting width of 48mm. Thanks to the wider crank web design the pressed big end pin is held noticeable stronger in place than with conventional, narrower types. The additional mass they also provide to the crankshaft has the effect of both damping vibrations and improving the even running of the motor. This complete range of crankshafts are produced in Italy with high precision using the highest quality materials available, the con rods and bearings are of an equal top quality.
