Conversion kit for the front axle of the cast rims - for significantly more riding comfort.

The wheel bearing system on the front cast rim is totally outdated and wears out much faster than contemporary ball bearings. In addition, the ride comfort leaves much to be desired. If you are tired of cheap bearings once and for all, you should change to the front wheel/bearing conversion kit from swiing - swiss ingenious.

What are the advantages of the front wheel conversion kit?

The new wheel bearings bring much more smoothness to the front wheel and have a positive effect on stability and vibrations. All in all, you get noticeably more riding comfort. A nice side effect of the new ball bearings is that they have a much longer service life than the standard front wheel bearings.

Scope of delivery

The set consists of two 6002 RS ball bearings and an aluminium spacer tube. The original 11 mm front axle can still be used.

The front wheel bearing kit fits Piaggio Ciao / Si / Bravo / Grillo / Boxer with the following Grimeca rims:

3-star cast 14"
4-star cast 16"
3-star cast 16"
5-star cast 17"

Note: Not suitable for spoked rims.

Our recommendation - the SIP-TIP:

If the original axle is damaged, replace it without fail.
For even more riding comfort, we recommend replacing the front fork springs.
