Most of you will by now have come to know our renowned SIP Performance shock absorber for the Vespa PX series. By now, we are finally able to also offer you a successful alternative for the Smallframe front shock absorber. Adjustable spring preload, 15-fold rebound control adjustment and first-class workmanship are the catchwords that characterize this new generation of shock absorbers! Let’s say goodbye to the days of dull uniformity, these absorbers offer just that extra bit of comfort and driving pleasure.
The continuously adjustable spring preload can be adjusted at the bottom of the shock absorber while the 2 lock rings are safeguarding the chosen adjustment against unintended adjustment. A professional adjusting tool is included in delivery, of course! The rebound control is located in the upper part of the absorber and thus easily accessible. You can easily make your adjustments here through a red anodized adjusting screw which will influence the rebound behavior of the shock absorber. A total of 9 different adjustment options is at hand. These options decide on the rebound behaviour while riding over road bumps, rough roads and through braking maneouvres. Turning the rebound control clockwise will increase the damping (+ icon) while counterclockwise turns will decrease damping (- icon).
Moreover, we will provide a zinced spacer for the lower shaft connection. This spacer safely replaces the existing spacer with a too small outer diameter.
