Wind Shields and Flyscreens for scooters offer protection from wind and weather and, depending on the design, also improve comfort and aerodynamics.
For many people, the wind is part of the special appeal of riding a scooter. However, if you are often out and about in bad weather, you should not do without a Wind Shield or Flyscreen. Depending on the height, these effectively protect the body and clothing from the wind and weather and often improve aerodynamics at the same time. The range includes Flyscreens and Wind Shields from FACO, ERMAX, SIP STYLE, PIAGGIO, MALOSSI, CUPPINI, SLUK and ISOTTA. The washers are usually made of 4 mm thick, scratch and impact-resistant acrylic glass.
They are generally easy to fit to the Holders already provided in the lower section of the Handlebar. Wind Shields and Flyscreens can therefore be fitted quickly and, depending on the version, offer a practical solution for more protection and riding comfort in everyday life.
A Flyscreen (Max height 215mm) represents an ideal compromise between the style and function of your Vespa and has been a design feature of countless customised scooters since the late 1970's. Riding with a flyscreen is much more pleasant and comfortable than without, especially in bad weather. The altered aerodynamics improve the airflow, your upper body is no longer fully exposed to the wind-stream and turbulence is also reduced. All this adds up to a noticeably more relaxed riding experience than when before the screen was fitted. We measure the screens, as they are attached to the scooter, from the top of the headlight assembly to the upper edge of the screen. All the screens we have available are delivered with all necessary fixings and registry documentation included. The proof of European approval certification can be found on the screen itself.
SIP-TIP : Why not push the comfort to the Max and invest in some functionally stylish scooter clothing produced by TUCANO URBANO and /or some cosy hand grip covers?
