The term tuning is derived from the English term "to tune" and means "to tune/harmonize"! We offer you tuning kits put together by us Tuning Kits that lead to a "harmonization" of your Engine. We have divided the Drive Tuning Kits into the following categories "Beginners" and "Sport". Drive optimization is easy to implement, even for a layman, and only requires a Holding Tool to open the Variator and clutch nut. The result is an improvement in acceleration.
Drive Tuning Kit "Beginner"
This kit includes a reinforced MALOSSI Belt. The wider design results in less slippage in the drive, which has a positive effect on acceleration. Lighter MALOSSI HT pulleys ensure easier revving of the Engine and the resulting higher engagement speed. These consist of a PTFE coating and are therefore particularly low-wear. The scope of delivery is rounded off by a MALOSSI Air Filter Sponge. More air flow with the same filter effect slightly lean down the mixture. This results in a more agile throttle response. We also send new nuts for the Variomatic and Clutch as spare parts.

Drive Tuning Kit "Sport"
If the first tuning step is not enough for you, you should go for our "Sport" drive kit. The scope of delivery includes a complete MALOSSI Multivar Variomatic and rollers. The scope of delivery also includes a wider Belt from MALOSSI and a Sport Air Filter Sponge. As with the starter kit, new nuts for the Variomatic and Clutch are also included.

CONCLUSION: If you don't want to spend a long time putting together your drive optimization parts, you can fall back on our Tuning Kit. The "starter" kit is inexpensive and noticeably optimizes acceleration. It is also suitable as a Service Kit if the vehicle has reached a service interval. Nevertheless, the "starter" kit does not immediately transform the scooter into a Ferrari. You can expect more from the "Sport" kit if it is optimally tuned. Replacing the CVT components leads to excellent acceleration values and makes you the king of traffic light starts!
Please note: The scope of delivery for art no. J3904428 for the Vespa ET 125-150ccm (old engine) only includes the air filter sponge, a variator incl. weights, a V-belt and the nuts for the clutch and variomatic. The clutch components are not available and not included in the scope of delivery!
