On Vespa Smallframe models, the factory-installed SHB carburettors are often prone to air leaks. This is usually caused by an inadequate seal between the carburettor and the Intake Manifold. This is exactly where the SIP DSPC carburettor comes in.

DS stands for “Drum Slider” (or drum carburettor), and PC stands for “Plug Connection,” referring to the plug-in connection to the Intake Manifold.
