The SpeedBox 3.3 for GIANT SyncDrive engines from 2022 onwards removes the speed limit and shows real riding data on the Display.
Tuning Chip E-Bike SPEEDBOX 3.3 GIANT SyncDrive '22 deactivates the 25 km/h speed limit. Values such as maximum speed, average speed, daily kilometers and range are retained correctly on the e-bike display. The maximum speed can be set individually. Compatible with RideControl Go, ERG and Charge.
- Display of all real values
- Invisibly installed on the Engine
- Maximum speed freely adjustable
Starting with Tuning Chip E-Bike SPEEDBOX 3.3 GIANT SyncDrive '22
The SpeedBox 3.3 is activated by briefly pressing the WALK button. The Display briefly shows 5.0 km/h - from this moment on, the tuning is active and the e-bike can go up to 50 km/h or faster (max. 99 km/h). The recommended maximum speed is 50 km/h. Deactivation is also done by briefly pressing the WALK button - the Display shows 2.5 km/h and the limit of 25 km/h is restored. Activation and deactivation should not be carried out while driving.
To set the maximum speed, the mode is switched down three times and then up three times. The currently set limit appears in the Display. To change the value, briefly press the WALK button or turn the rear wheel 360°. A display of 1.5 km/h corresponds to a maximum speed of 15 km/h, 2.0 -> 20 km/h, 2.5 -> 25 km/h, 3.0 -> 30 km/h, 5.0 -> 50 km/h. The setting is saved after five seconds of inactivity.
After the ride, the e-bike must remain switched on until the Display shows a constant 0.0 km/h. This is necessary to correctly complete the kilometer deduction ("countdown"). Only then can the bike be safely parked.
Mounting and dismounting
Color-coded plugs with coded connections are used to install the SpeedBox 3.3. Connection is simple between the Engine, Sensor and Display. Video instructions and written instructions make installation easier. Disassembly is also possible without any problems. Before starting the SpeedBox for the first time, the e-bike should have been ridden at least 10 km.
Notes
The tuning should only be activated and deactivated when the bike is stationary. Otherwise, malfunctions may occur during operation. After parking, the Display must not be removed or the e-bike switched off until the countdown is complete. For shorter breaks, it helps to keep one foot on the Pedal so as not to start the trigger. For longer stops, the mileage deduction should run at least partially.
The use of additional protection and safety products is recommended to avoid injury. The warranty does not cover damage caused by software updates to the Engine.
Attention: It is recommended not to update the software of the e-bike.
Conclusion: The SpeedBox 3.3 for GIANT SyncDrive engines from 2022 onwards brings flexibility, speed and real values to the display - a clever upgrade for your E-bike.
