The SpeedBox 3.2 Tuning Chip for GIANT SyncDrive Engines removes the 25 km/h speed limiter from E-bikes and pedelecs.
With the SpeedBox 3.2 Tuning Chip for GIANT SyncDrive Engines, the speed limiter can be freely adjusted beyond 25 km/h. After installation, the e-bike display continues to show correct data such as maximum and average speed, daily kilometers and range.
- Display of real values
- Invisibly installed on the Engine
- Maximum speed freely adjustable
Activation and operation of the SpeedBox 3.2 for GIANT
Activation is via the WALK button on the e-bike display. After briefly pressing it, the Display shows 5.0 km/h - from then on, riding at up to 50 km/h and more is possible (max. 99 km/h, recommended: max. 50 km/h). Deactivation is also carried out using the WALK button - the Display then briefly shows 2.5 km/h and the system returns to the original 25 km/h limit. Activation or deactivation should never be carried out while driving.
To change the maximum speed, the mode is switched down three times and then up three times. The Display shows the current limit, which can be changed by pressing the WALK button or turning the rear wheel 360°. 1.5 km/h corresponds to 15 km/h, 2.0 km/h ? 20 km/h etc., up to 5.0 km/h ? 50 km/h. The new value is saved after five seconds without input.
Attention: After parking the e-bike, you must wait until the Display permanently shows 0.0 km/h - this is important for a correct system reset. For short stops, it helps to keep one foot on the Pedal to avoid triggering this countdown.
Assembly and disassembly
The SpeedBox 3.2 uses color-coded plugs with safety interlocks to connect to the e-bike. Installation is easy - the enclosed instructions and videos provide additional help. Removal is just as straightforward. Brand-new e-bikes should have been ridden at least 10 km before installation.
Notes
The tuning should always be activated and deactivated before riding. This is not recommended while riding. The screen should not be removed after the stop until the countdown is complete. For longer stops, part of the mileage deduction should be run through. E-bike software updates can disrupt the function - if in doubt, the SpeedBox should be removed before the update and reinstalled afterwards. It is recommended not to exceed a speed of 35 km/h permanently. Additional protective products are recommended for greater safety.
Attention: It is recommended not to update the software of the e-bike.
Conclusion: The SpeedBox 3.2 for GIANT Engines lifts the speed limit - for more freedom when e-biking.
