Product description

The SpeedBox 2.0 for Yamaha PW-SE, PW-X, PW-TE, PWX2 and PW-ST is a reliable second generation tuning chip for your e-bike with Yamaha motor. SpeedBox Tuning Chip 2.0 enables the deactivation of the e-bike speed limiter.

After installing the SpeedBox 2.0 tuning module, real data such as top speed, average speed, daily distance and range are displayed on the e-bike display.

Starting with the SpeedBox Tuning 2.0

The tuning module can be activated via the display. If the WALK or LIGHT button is pressed, the display shows "9.9 km/h" for pedelecs built in 2017 to 2018. For pedelecs built in 2019, the display briefly shows "9 km/h". Speeds of up to 99 km/h are now available. If the WALK or LIGHT button is pressed again, the chip is deactivated, so the speed limit of 25 km/h is activated. If the e-bike does not have a WALK button, the button combination "+-+-" is used. The speed box is then also activated and is also switched off again in this way.

Assembly and disassembly

The colour-coded plug connections make assembly relatively easy. After you have gained access to the engine, the existing connections are simply disconnected and the tuning module is inserted in between. It is just as easy to remove the module and restore it to its original condition. We have linked several videos below this product description that explain the installation very clearly.

Note: If the tuning module is installed on a brand new e-bike, you should have ridden the bike for at least one kilometre beforehand.
