Regrettably PIAGGIO no longer produce either version of the glovebox covers for the PX range. Existing glovebox covers have very often either been bent or been 'treated' to a larger pair of holes to mount speakers sometime in the past. Included in the SIP spare parts range are now new glovebox covers for all P80-150X/PX80-200E/P200E/P150S and the PX80-200EFL/'98/MY/T5/'11. These toolbox doors are made in small numbers on a production line, are constructed of metal sheet and are unpainted. The PX EFL version is also available in polished stainless steel and goes well with chromed accessories.
SIP-TIP: Glovebox covers produced by certain manufacturers may appear to stand proud of the glovebox itself when first mounted. This is easily fixed by gently bending the arms of the cover until a tight fit is achieved.
Unfortunately, PIAGGIO no longer offers Glovebox doors for the PX and PX Lusso. The existing doors are often bent or have holes drilled in them for speakers. Until now, the only alternative was usually a completely new PX Lusso glovebox. That’s why we’ve had these parts custom-made.
In the SIP SPARE PARTS line, we now offer Glovebox Doors for the P80-150X, PX80-200 E, P200E, P150S, as well as the PX80-200 E Lusso, '98, MY, and T5 models. The caps are manufactured in small batches, are made of metal, and are delivered unpainted. They are also available in polished stainless steel, making them a beautiful complement to chrome accessories.
Note: Gloveboxes from different manufacturers may vary slightly in their curvature. If the gap on the side between the Cap and the glovebox is too large, the fit can be adjusted by carefully bending the brackets accordingly.
