These adjustable handlebar levers, from our own production, enable the most convenient method of adjusting the length of either the front brake or clutch cables by 15mm without getting your hands dirty. This clean alternative is possible as a hand-operated adjuster mechanism is located directly on the levers themselves. They can be adjusted by 15mm in either direction at the top end of the cable, even while out riding! A really clever and useful solution that no Vespa should be without. There is also a choice of two separate styles available, one with a classic-style pointed end and the other with a ball-ended sport lever look. Both styles are available in either black or a silver polished aluminium.
Information: With slight modification Vespa PX handlebar levers can also be fitted to the smallframe Vespa PK models. Once the OE item has been removed, the upper fixing hole on the headset requires drilling out to a diameter of 8.5mm. Now the PX lever fixing screw can be inserted, using an additional washer between the lever and headset to eliminate any mechanical play. Due to the vibrations in the headset during use these screws can easily come undone, so the use of a Nyloc nut is strongly recommended! The brake and clutch cables on your Vespa PK can then be adjusted and set up as before the optical and technical upgrade.

Additional essentials - our SIP-TIP:
- Due to the slightly wider lever opening on the Vespa PK headset additional spacer washers are essential for a safe and solid operation. Both PX type levers will require a pair of 1.5mm thick washers (# 97734000, # 17492000) above and below the lever fixing.
- All models require suitable operation cables with a solder-less nipple: Front brake cable, clutch cable.
- Vespa PX Lusso models also require a solder-less adjustment screw for the lower end of the front brake cable.

SIP-TIP: After only a little modification, you can mount the Vespa PX brake lever on a PK handlebar. All you need to do is demount the lever and enlarge the upper bore to 8.5mm. If you now use the screw that is suitable for the PX brake lever and an additional washer between lever and handlebar, you can adjust the lever free of play. Make sure the use a self-securing counter nut in order to avoid a loosening of the nut due to the constant vibrations. Mounting and adjustment of brake and clutch is not affected by this.
