The SIP PERFORMANCE 2.0 was a clear response to the racing exhaust systems from SCOOTER&SERVICE and DSE, which had set new standards in 200cc tuning. The exhaust was developed together with an exhaust specialist who had already successfully equipped 150-meter sprinters in the scooter scene and who was devoting himself intensively to the Vespa exhaust for the first time with this project. The result is a Racing Exhaust that has been designed for both classic road set-ups and powerful high-end engines and unleashes enormous potential depending on the Engine power.

The body of the SIP PERFORMANCE 2.0 has been completely redeveloped and made significantly more voluminous. Nevertheless, it remains suitable for everyday use, as the Centre Stand and wide tires can still be used. The Exhaust is handcrafted by JL EXHAUSTS, optionally made of stainless steel or steel with Clear Lacquer as rust protection. The Exhaust Manifold is suspended on both sides with Springs and the Holder on the Traverse is designed to withstand the vibrations generated by the Silencer. The Exhaust can be used with standard cylinders as well as with road or bottom-end tuned Engines. Depending on the set-up, outputs of between 18 and 32 hp and speeds of 110 to 150 km/h are possible.
Its particular strength lies in its characteristics: the SIP PERFORMANCE 2.0 is very high-torque and shows no loss of power in any gear. Compared to a NEWLINE or DSE, it kicks in earlier and pulls the power through to fourth gear much more harmoniously with the same peak power. The Exhaust is available with various bolt-on silencer versions made of carbon, black aluminum or stainless steel. Other SIP Silencers and the S&S Silencer also fit the system.
Another plus point is the JL EXHAUSTS warranty: if the Exhaust breaks within three years of purchase, it will be repaired or replaced for first-time owners who bought it from SIP. Damage caused by external influences is of course excluded.
The Exhaust is hand-welded from stainless steel or steel from many segments and combined with a Fitting Silencer made of aluminum, stainless steel or carbon. The Springs are rubber-coated. Mounting with wide tires and a Centre Stand is possible without any problems, although there may be problems with Replacement Parts Centre Stands in individual cases. It is not possible to fit a spare wheel. The jetting and ignition settings must be checked and optimized after fitting.

SIP TIP:
- With the SI Carburettor, the Main Jet should be selected at least ten sizes larger. MALOSSI 210, COSA Clutch, racing or Long Stroke Crankshaft and a modified Cylinder Head are sensible additions. SIP PERFORMANCE Ignition, diaphragm carburetor with 30 to 36 mm, Flowed Crankshaft and other tuning components will then take the Engine towards the 30 hp mark.

Note: JL Exhausts has been struggling with a sharp rise in material and personnel costs for some time now. Customs duties, bureaucratic hurdles and a shortage of skilled workers are making production even more difficult and expensive. Unfortunately, this will lead to a price increase for all models from 07/2025. We have been able to mitigate the adjustment for the most common racing exhaust systems, but some models will be permanently removed from the range.
The exhaust systems are still manufactured by hand in Europe to the highest quality standards. Low noise development, high durability, a striking racing look thanks to clean weld seams and high-quality materials such as stainless steel continue to speak for these exhaust systems.
