The DSPC carburettor from SIP PERFORMANCE solves the air leakage problem of Vespa Smallframe carburettors and combines classic design with modern carburettor technology.
On Vespa Smallframe Models, the factory-fitted carburettors are often susceptible to the ingress of false air. This is usually caused by an inadequate seal between the Carburettor and Intake Manifold. This is exactly where the DSPC Carburettor from SIP PERFORMANCE comes in.
The technology is simple, tried and tested and reliable: "DS" stands for Drum Slider, i.e. drum carburetor, "PC" for Plug Connection, the plug connection to the Intake Manifold.

The DSPC Carburettors are more than just a technically advanced replacement for the original smallframe carburettors. They fit the well-known SHB Intake Manifolds and are easy to fit.
Recommended mapping:
- 17.5 mm A: Vespa 50/N/L/R/Special/PK50/S/SS/FL/HP/XL2/Elestart
- 17.5 mm B: Vespa 50 Special/S/SS/90/R/SS/125 VMA1/PK50XL/SS/Elestart
- 19 mm: Vespa 50 SR/100/S/PV/ET3/PK80/100/125/S/XL/FL/N/XL2/Elestart
Perfect tuning and no more false air problems
The DSPC Carburettors are logically designed, have a Needle and can be easily tuned via the main and Idle Jet. All tuning parts for PHBG carburettors can also be used here.
To solve the false air problem, the DSPC carburettors are equipped with a special plastic sleeve. This ensures a clean seal to the Intake Manifold. The fitted white Bushes are intended for use with used Intake Manifolds. The black Bushes supplied are intended for new Intake Manifolds and have a slightly larger inner diameter for easier installation. This makes false air problems at this point a thing of the past.
Suitable for SHB Intake Manifolds
The SIP DSPC carburettors are fitted to the SHB Intake Manifold in the same way as the SHB carburettors. However, the connection width of the respective carburettor must be taken into account during installation.
- 17.5 mm DSPC with 16.10 SHB Seating: The 19.19 SHB Bushing Intake Manifold is required.
- 17.5 mm DSPC with 16.16 SHB Seating: The 19.19 SHB Bushing Intake Manifold is required.

A CNC Air Filter Adapter is required to fit the standard SHB air filter. All Air Filters with an M32 x 1.25 mm Connection, as used on PHBG Carburettors, will also fit. However, there is not enough space in the frame for most of these Air Filters.
