Clutch Kit from SIP PERFORMANCE for converting older Vespa Wideframe engines to modern “Cosa2” clutch technology.
Even older Wideframe engines can be converted to use modern “Cosa2” clutch technology. To do this, SIP PERFORMANCE uses the proven SIP “Cosa2” standard clutches. Thanks to the higher contact pressure and larger friction surface, more power can be reliably transmitted. Laser-cut Clutch Baskets prevent jerky engagement and ensure smooth disengagement, effortless operation, and reliable performance. No jerking, no slipping—ideal for both stock and tuned engines.
The SIP PERFORMANCE clutch kit includes a SIP “Cosa2” clutch as well as all necessary small parts, such as spacers for the Clutch Cover, a Push Rod, a Pressure Plate, and other mounting parts. The kit is available with either 23 or 24 teeth.
Installation Note: To install the Clutch, material must be removed in the area of the third Stud and on the Clutch Cover.
SIP TIP:
Can only be installed in combination with a Z 64 or Z 65 Primary Driven Gear.
