Unfortunately, the production of complete stator plates has run out for many Vespa models. Therefore, we have put on stock all the individual parts that are still available: Ignition coils, supply coils, points assemblies, condensers, pick-ups etc

Over the years and according to country of destination PIAGGIO have varied the supply coils included on their stator plates, irrelevant of model or type. This means they cannot be 100% reliably identified according to the basic model specification. Another reason for these items being wrongly identified is that they may have already been replaced since the Vespa left the factory. For positive identification, when ordering replacements from our shop, please provide us with all possible identification details located on the coil itself to help us be able to dispatch the correct component.

We have perfect coils produced on our behalf by the Italian manufacturer CEAB, as part of our SIP Spareparts range. We made sure that along with adequate wiring, accurately sized widths, coil windings that the correct soldering tab were all in the perfect positions. As a result these items fit properly first time, always do their job and save a lot of future hassle once correctly installed. SIP-ASSEMBLY TIP: If a coil does not fit during assembly, the ignition base plate must be turned to size on the lathe. This can be due to tolerances in the hole pattern or the assembly of the metal plate core by the manufacturer.
