This ring spacer kit that allows the mounting of wider section tyres was developed for those who consider the aluminium sleeving kit not stable enough for the amount of power their motor produces. The ring has an increased contact surface area which also has a stabilising effect on the wheel with a 100%, 360° connection to the brake drum mounting. This conversion kit also requires the wheel studs to be replaced with longer versions.

To bring the contact point of the tyre back into line with the front wheels contact point the pivot section of the motors swing arm must be shortened on the right hand side by 1cm and the motor is so moved to the right. The necessary spacer for the left side of the pivot is also included with this conversion kit. Tyres with a size of between 110/80-10' to 130/70-10' can be used.

For proper and safe use of this conversion kit a wider rimmed wheel is necessary. These spacer rings are available chromed or painted grey.
