Replacement and upgrade filling for almost all 2-stroke Silencers for excellent Silencing effect

All racing exhausts - with the exception of the standard/ROAD/Sito Plus - are fitted with Silencers filled with Silencer Wool. Over time, this burns out or becomes clogged if the Engine is running very rich. The Exhaust becomes louder and the Silencer Wool should be replaced.

Regularly serviced two-stroke exhaust systems can also be surprisingly quiet. SILENT SPORT,  , one of the top suppliers of Racing Exhaust sound insulation, made in Germany, used to provide original equipment for KTM motorcycles, among others. We have been using their Silencer Wool for years in the SIP silencers, which are recognized for their excellent performance.

Installation instructions: Replacing the old Silencer Wool is very simple:

• Open the old Silencer - usually the Rivets have to be drilled out for this.
• Clean the End Cap and damper sleeve,
• Scrape out the old Silencer Wool with a long screwdriver
• Wrap the Silencer Wool loosely around the damper flute
• , replace the End Cap with Sealing Compound and fasten with blind rivets
