Its AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) outer shell, combined with a polystyrene core system composed of several elements of varying absorption capacity, provides optimum impact protection. An integrated, clear visor with 3-way adjustable flip-out limit and rounded lower edge provides effective protection for the eyes. The stylish double-D chin strap is easily adjustable and keeps the helmet securely in place.

Wearing comfort

3 different outer shell sizes (XS-M | L | XL-XXL) create the distinctive, slim silhouette of the SHOEI EX-ZERO and allow for an optimal rider-to-helmet size ratio. The head pad, cheek pads and chin strap pad are fully removable and washable. For individual adjustment of the helmet, head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses. Press studs allow the separately available V-480 helmet visor to be attached for improved glare and stone impact protection. An inconspicuously integrated ventilation system ensures a pleasant climate and reduced humidity inside the helmet during sporting use. The airy feel of an MX helmet is one of the defining features of the SHOEI EX-ZERO.

Accessories

To replace worn pads or to customise the helmet, head and cheek pads in different sizes and thicknesses are available in SHOEI's range of accessories. Also a chin strap pad with EX-ZERO logo embossing. Visors in different tints and mirror coatings are also available for the SHOEI EX-ZERO, including a photochromatic (self-tinting) visor. These can be fitted quickly and without tools and can be used in compliance with the homologation regulations. The helmet is equipped with a clear CJ-3 visor as standard. The distinctive black V-480 helmet visor from SHOEI's range of accessories can be attached to the press studs in the forehead area of the helmet.

Scope of delivery

The scope of delivery of the SHOEI EX-ZERO includes a helmet bag for gentle storage and EX-ZERO logo stickers. The helmet manual and the brochure "Correct use of your helmet" contain valuable information on the use, maintenance and care of the SHOEI EX-ZERO.
