The centre stand is now equipped with an individually adjustable stop rubber. A thread allows the centre stand to be perfectly adjusted to your vehicle and the desired distance to the frame. For example, you can set the centre stand at an extra large distance from the floor panel so that you can use it comfortably at all times. Alternatively, the centre stand can be adjusted close to the floor panel to ensure maximum ground clearance.

Protection of the frame

The Smooth Stop centre stand comes with special stand plates. These have additional run-up plates against which the centre stand rests. This prevents direct contact between the stand tube and the frame and provides additional protection for the frame. In its original state, the original Piaggio stand rubs directly against the painted floor panel, which is avoided.

Scope of delivery

Longer screws are required for assembly, which are included in the set. The main stand spring and stand feet can of course still be used from the original stand, but they are also available as replacement parts (see below).

Conclusion: An extremely sensible technical update that is visually almost invisible!
