If the sealing surface of the rotary valve inlet is damaged, it is no longer possible to build up sufficient pressure to feed the gas mixture into the combustion chamber - the Engine starts poorly, idling becomes unstable or fails completely. To rectify this defect without changing the original 50 cc set-up or requiring a new Crankcase, SERIE PRO offers a solid repair solution with the Intake Manifold especially for the DELL'ORTO SHB 16.10 and the PK 50. The Intake Manifold is simply screwed on, requires no modifications to the Engine or chassis and takes over the task of the defective rotary valve control so that the Vespa runs again.
