Many scooters are throttled via the exhaust manifold as standard. By installing a tuning manifold, the original exhaust system can be easily de-throttled and the performance noticeably increased. Replacing the throttled standard manifold with a tuning manifold from various manufacturers enables a technically simple and cost-effective increase in top speed of up to approx. 10 km/h. For a harmonious setup, the Main Jet in the Carburettor should generally be selected around 10 % larger and the tuning carefully checked.
