Classic single-track trailer for Vespa and Lambretta models with TÜV certificate.
In the 1950s, there were various manufacturers who produced trailers for scooters or motorbikes. One of them was the Czech manufacturer PAV. A single-track trailer that enjoyed great popularity. It was shapely and functional.

The LEGAND BIKES company has developed a trailer that looks very much like the PAV. The basic construction and functionality also correspond to the historical model. The body is made of GRP and the frame can be attached to almost all Vespa and Lambretta models. The best thing about it is that the trailer comes with a TÜV certificate and can therefore be approved for road use.
Attachment to the vehicle
The trailer comes with a coupling including an adapter plate. The plate is screwed directly onto the scooter. The coupling allows up and down and sideways movements. It cannot twist. This keeps the trailer stable. The wheel of the trailer is sprung via rubber buffers. A supplied cable branch connects the vehicle electrics with the trailer's rear light.
Certificate for operation on public roads
The trailer comes with a "certificate for obtaining an individual operating permit". The certificate was issued by TÜV Süd and enables the issuing of an individual permit in Germany. For this purpose, the certificate must be presented to the responsible road traffic authority. The maximum permissible speed with the trailer is 60km/h.
Delivery condition
The trailer comes pre-assembled, but not fully assembled. Illustrated instructions are enclosed. Body and mudguard are primed. Not included is the cover for the trailer. You can choose between a flap and a roller blind, which are available separately in our shop. The flap can also be equipped with a luggage rack. Of course, it is also possible to operate the trailer without a cover at all, e.g. with a small window and equipment for transporting dogs.
Model variants
The Legend Bikes trailer is available for almost all Vespa and Lambretta models. The models differ only in the plate that connects the hitch to the vehicle and the height of the drawbar.
