SITO Plus Exhaust - inconspicuous appearance, noticeable increase in performance in the mid/upper rev range and top fit in T5 style.
Need a little update? The SITO Plus is the ultimate alternative to original exhaust systems and the entry into the road racing exhaust class. Visually, it remains pleasantly inconspicuous, but impresses with its inner values: It tickles more power out of the Engine, especially in the mid and upper rev range, and ensures a significantly better gear connection - especially with original cylinders. If you want to build a touring engine, you get a noticeable increase in power plus a sportier sound without having to switch to a "loud racing pot".
- Unobtrusive T5 style with very good fitting accuracy and solid workmanship
- More power and better gear connection, especially in the mid/upper rev range
- Suitable for everyday use: suitable for wide tires, spare wheels and main stand, good ground clearance
The Exhaust, which is based on the original T5 system, also scores points with its solid workmanship and very good fit - and offers the classic advantages of the original systems: good ground clearance and easy installation, even with wide tires, spare wheel and Centre Stand. As original T5 exhaust systems are no longer available, the SITO Plus is the obvious solution for many setups.
Technically, the SITO Plus comes as a steel Racing Exhaust, painted black, with BSAU number. The sound is typically "Plates". For a clean result, the jetting and ignition setting should be adjusted. Important: There is only a BSAU homologation for England - therefore clarify the legal situation (e.g. TÜV approval) before use on the road.
Road-oriented Racing Exhaust made of steel, painted black, with BSAU number - broadly applicable from the 135 DR to the revised MALOSSI 210.
Conclusion: The SITO Plus is a real all-rounder: inconspicuous appearance, wide rev range and a sporty finish for original engines - at the same time the icing on the cake on tuned, touring setups, and at a fair price.
PURCHASE RECOMMENDATION: SIP TIP
- Ideal in combination with a touring setup, e.g. light Flywheel or SIP Performance Ignition/Parmakit, COSA clutch and short 4th gear as well as 24-26 mm Carburettor - optionally with DRT Float Chamber or Spacer.
FEEDBACK
"I first rode the Taffspeed MK4 and then the SIP Performance on original. The two RAPs revved higher, but that didn't really increase performance on the original cylinder!"
-SIP user "Nase"
"The Sito+ concept is standard looks plus a little bit more performance. This box pipe based on the original T5 exhaust layout has always worked well. Despite being slightly louder and tinnier than the stock Sito it carries a BSAU 192T3 approval stamp, which is important for some markets. The Sito+ delivers a useful performance boost across the rev range, but it is no longer the best performing box pipe."
