QUATTRINI C1-PRO engine housing for Vespa Smallframe - high-end basis for uncompromising engine setups beyond 125 cc.
When it comes to genuine high-end smallframe engines, there is hardly any way around Max QUATTRINI. With the C1-PRO engine case, he delivers a consistently sporty basis for all those who do not want to build up "a little faster", but rather technically clean and performance-oriented - including the details that make the difference in powerful setups.
The housing is equipped with a closed reed valve inlet, which must be opened if necessary. With direct intake setups, however, nothing needs to be closed. The crankcase is 48 mm wide and thus perfectly designed for the 47 mm cheek width of the QUATTRINI full cheek shaft. The diameter on both sides is 84.5 mm, and there is also a central groove for the connecting rod (87 mm). The bearing seats are designed for 52 × 20 × 15 mm crankshaft bearings. On the cylinder side, it is also clear where the journey is heading: at 65 mm, the cylinder base mount is significantly larger than the 62 mm of the original housing.
The whole thing is also practical: there is enough space on the swingarm for a 3.50-10 tire. The installation of a water pump on the primary side and a QUATTRINI racing exhaust is possible without any problems. The QUATTRINI lettering on the alternator half provides the perfect sporty accent.
Important for planning: The housing is only intended for the special, wide QUATTRINI crankshaft with 102 connecting rod. On the cylinder side, anything > 125 cc can be used - the QUATTRINI M1L60-12 is ideal. The C1-PRO also has a large diaphragm inlet that extends over both halves of the housing and is located directly under the cylinder.
Note: If you want to use the diaphragm inlet on the housing, you also need the QUATTRINI diaphragm and usually have to use your own intake manifold.
Conclusion: High-end housing for smallframe riders with a largeframe wallet.
SIP-TIP:
- QUATTRINI shaft, suitable bearings and shaft seals are a must - ideal in conjunction with the M1L60-12. Don't forget the gasket set, silentblocs, wedges and gear oil!
Note: QUATTRINI RR Race parts can only be used in combination with each other. The Full Circle Crankshaft must be installed together with the RR Crankcase and the RR Cylinder.
