POLINI has taken on the major challenge of developing a completely new Carburettor from scratch. The result is the CP carburettor series, featuring diameters ranging from 17 to 24 mm, compact dimensions, and very low weight. The carburettors feature a conventional round-slide design but combine it with the characteristics of modern flat-slide carburettors.

The Air Intake System is kept short and features an innovative design intended to optimize airflow. During the design process, POLINI placed particular emphasis on the positioning of the atomizer. It is designed to receive an effective airflow and operate cleanly in any slide position. The float, Float Needle, and fuel inlet are precision-machined and carefully inspected during production to ensure a constant fuel level even under extreme conditions.

The compact design of the POLINI CP carburettors in particular makes them the ideal choice for models with limited space, such as the Vespa Smallframe or Vespa Wideframe. To ensure the carburettors remain compatible with as many engines, Intake Manifolds, and Air Filters as possible and are easy to install, flanges with different diameters are available.
