The POLINI CP Carburettor is based on a particularly compact aluminum casing and short flow channels. This makes it around 40 % lighter than comparable carburettors from MIKUNI or DELLORTO. All components are manufactured in Italy.
The Venturi layout of the short Intake Tract ensures a uniform air flow. The mixture can flow cleanly into the Mixer Tube regardless of the throttle slide position. An optimized fuel inlet bore and a larger Float Needle Valve reliably supply the Carburettor with fuel.
POLINI also attaches great importance to consistent quality during production: the float position and function of the Float Needle are checked precisely during production. This accuracy makes the subsequent adjustment of the Carburettor noticeably easier.
The CP Carburettor with 17.5 mm fits the standard 16/16 mm Intake Manifold with clamp connection. The variants with 19 to 24 mm are available with a plug-in connection or flexible rubber connection, depending on the version, and have been specially developed for Vespa Smallframe Intake Manifolds. Delivery includes POLINI Airbox and throttle cable, but without Intake Manifold. Depending on the version, suitable 19 mm Disc Valve or diaphragm Intake Manifolds from POLINI as well as 24 mm CP Intake Manifolds can be used. The Carburettors are prepared for Cable-Choke.
