POLINI Racing Exhaust "Banana" - touring and sports exhaust for Vespa Smallframe with a strong price-performance ratio. Steel, glossy grey finish, with aluminum silencer - available as left- or right-hand version.
POLINI also has a firm fixture in its range of racing exhausts for smallframes: thanks to its good price-performance ratio, this POLINI Racing Exhaust is one of the most popular entry-level tuning systems. The wide power band makes it an all-rounder suitable for everyday use, delivering noticeable torque even at low engine speeds and providing useful support for many setups - not just POLINI cylinders. The sound remains classically Italian, but pleasantly restrained thanks to the compact Silencer.
- Wide power band: suitable for touring with good torque even at low revs
- Inconspicuous appearance: Lefthand discreet under the Side Panels, Righthand almost invisible
- Good price-performance ratio as a popular entry-level tuning system
The "banana" sits discreetly under the left Side Panels in the Lefthand version and remains visually inconspicuous; on PK models, the spare wheel has to make way for it. The Righthand version disappears almost completely under the engine block on the right-hand side, leaving only the Silencer visible - the spare wheel can remain in place. In terms of sound and performance, the Righthand version is in no way inferior to the Lefthand version. Overall, the Exhaust is a robust all-rounder with a wide usable band and good durability - ideal for getting started with POLINI tuning.
Conclusion: A durable all-round exhaust with a wide performance band and very good value for money - perfect as an introduction to POLINI setups.
SIP TIP:
- Adjusting the carburettor jetting is mandatory; we recommend 75-130 cc tuning cylinders, SHB 19-24 mm carburettors, longer gear ratios and a reinforced clutch or PK XL clutch.
Feedback
"Fun low-budget tuning: POLINI 130 raised, POLINI Reed Valve, Shaft, POLINI RAP → 12.5 hp. Lots of Silencer for little money - and reliable."
