Product description

PINASCO crankcases for Vespa Wideframe models, designed to accommodate Vespa PX cylinders and modern engine technology while maintaining a largely classic look.

PINASCO developed this crankcase to enable the integration of more powerful Vespa technology into classic Wideframe frames. Care was taken to preserve the original crankcase’s exterior appearance as much as possible.

4 Studs for Vespa PX Cylinders
Designed for a 60 mm stroke
7 mm wider crankshaft
Diaphragm intake directly into the crankcase

The casings are not sandblasted, which keeps the surface texture closer to that of the original parts. PINASCO logos and badges are subtly designed and visually inspired by classic crankcases.

Technical Details

For the reinforcement, the crankshaft has been widened by 7 mm. The fuel-air mixture enters the crankcase directly via a diaphragm inlet.

The package includes an intake manifold for a PHBG 21 carburettor. The crankcase is designed for a 4-speed transmission and can be operated with a 2% fuel-air mixture.

With a suitable Adaptor Plate, cylinders designed for Vespa PX 125/150 engines can be used.

Conclusion: An interesting base for wide-frame conversions that combine modern PX cylinder technology with classic Vespa styling.
