Known in the scene as the "smallframe banana", this left-sided system combines a discreet look with a surprisingly wide power band. Originally installed on sporty smallframe models such as the SR 50 or SS 90, it is considered an all-rounder: early response, powerful pulling power and an unobtrusive sound. Variants from FACO, repros in SS look and the SIP ROAD bananas cover different requirements - from close to original to tuned for touring. The split Exhaust Manifold makes servicing and changing tires easier; jetting and ignition settings should be checked and optimized after the conversion. Ideal for 75/85 cc setups up to over 125 cc.

The name "banana" comes from the shape: left-handed, discreetly visible under the left Side Parts. In technical terms, it is particularly impressive due to its wide usable speed range and early torque - suitable for both everyday engines and powerful tuning setups. In combination with cylinders such as the MALOSSI 136 or POLINI 133, the result is a package that is very suitable for touring and remains easy to ride even in 2-person operation.

There are differences in the versions: The ET3 banana from FACO is supplied with Exhaust Manifold (black or chrome-plated). The chrome-plated SS50/90 banana is an elaborate replica with a super-sprint look and is available with or without an Exhaust Manifold, depending on the variant. PK models require frame modifications for some systems. The ETS banana is available as an inexpensive repro version, the manifold fit of which can be optimized depending on the vehicle. The SIP ROAD bananas, which cover a wide performance spectrum, are regarded as the reference in terms of quality and fit. All bananas are fitted without exhaust manifolds.
