Crankshafts from PIAGGIO for Leader, LEM, Quasar and Master engines. It is important to select the correct category FC1 or FC2 to match the Crankcase.

PIAGGIO Leader, LEM, Quasar and Master engines with 125-300 cc have different tolerances on the running surface of the main bearing of the Crankshaft. To compensate for these tolerances, PIAGGIO has installed category 1 (FC1) or category 2 (FC2) Crankshafts, depending on the Crankcase.

The correct category must be ordered and fitted when replacing. If an FC1 or FC2 Crankshaft was previously installed, it may only be replaced with a Shaft of the same category.

Information : The easiest method to identify the crankshaft included in your motor is to first remove it from the crankcases! There is a number engraved into the bottom of one of the crankshaft webs, such as 04/14*1. '04/14 designates the date of production, the number '1' shows its type. A '1' for category 1 crankshafts (FC_1), a '2' for category 2 crankshafts (FC-2)!
