H4 clear-glass headlights from PIAGGIO for better light output and optimal illumination of the road.

“Let there be light, and there was light,” AC/DC proclaimed back in the mid-1970s. PIAGGIO, however, took a little longer and first installed an H4 clear-glass headlight on the PX MY series.

Here, the company drew on clear-glass technology familiar from the automotive industry and replaced the Headlight Unit’s diffuser with a clear front lens. The main advantage is that it eliminates the light loss caused by the diffuser. The beam pattern is determined by the slightly curved shape of the Reflector and provides optimal illumination of the road.

A must for anyone who wants to “see and be seen” on the road. The Headlight Unit is E-approved and may be legally used on public roads.

Note: The clear-glass headlights from the PX ’98/MY models can also be used in the LML Star. However, the plugs must be replaced, as the manufacturers use different systems. The number and length of the wires are the same, though, so the conversion is easy to perform.
