The MSO 3.0 tuning module for SHIMANO Steps removes the 25 km/h speed limit. The module is installed invisibly on the motor. The tuning module can be used with all SHIMANO displays.

The functions of the tuning module MSO 3.0 for SHIMANO Steps:

If the tuning is active, only half the speed is shown on the display. So if it says 17 km/h, you are riding at around 34 km/h.
You activate the module simply by pressing the light button.
Plug & Play: The tuning module configures itself after installation.

Note: If your bike does not have a light button, the tuning module with "Still On" function is better suited, because then the tuning is always active after switching on the e-bike.

Mounting the MSO 3.0 tuning module for SHIMANO Steps

The module is connected directly to the drive. The cover of the motor must be removed during installation. Then all cable connections are exposed. English instructions can be downloaded here.
