Permanently elastic silicone Sealing Compound for Engine and Bodywork.
The Sealing Compound Dirko HT from Elring is suitable for permanent sealing of Engine, transmission, bodywork, crankcase, oil pan, Radiator, differential etc.
It has very good adhesion to all common metals, cast iron, plastics (except PE, PP and PTFE) and lenses. The Sealing Compound is characterized by a very wide range of applications.

- Color: Red
- Temperature range: -60°C to +300°C (up to 315°C over 24 hours)
- Maximum sealing gap: 2.0mm
- Skin formation time (23°C): 5-10 min
- Curing time (23°C): 24 h
Instructions for use and processing:
- Remove sealing residues and clean the sealing surfaces with solvent.
- Sealing surfaces must be clean, dry and free of Oil and grease before applying the Sealing Compound to ensure reliable sealing and adhesion.
- Processing temperature (ambient/adhesive surface temperature): +5 to +35°C
- Apply Sealing Compound continuously and evenly.
- Remove any excess Sealing Compound immediately, as there is a risk of it dripping into the interior.
- Depending on the application, the parts can be installed immediately after application, after skin formation or after complete curing.
- Install components according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Immediate sealing function is given.
- Close the Sealing Compound immediately after use.
