Single Saddle - classic 50s/60s look with a springy ride and stylish appearance.
Back then, it was common for both rider and pillion passenger to sit on a Single Saddle or Seat Cushion. Seats were only fitted as standard on the 150 GS and later model series or were only available from PIAGGIO's range of accessories.
Single Saddles convey the typical 50s/60s look and also look good on many models on which they were not fitted as standard. The higher seating position is a little unusual at first and gives a slightly spongy riding feel. However, once you get used to it, you won't want to do without it. We recommend combining it with the color-matching Seat Cushion or Single Saddle. Single Saddles were never fitted as standard, but offer a nice alternative to Seat Cushions.
Single Saddles from PASCOLI as well as PIAGGIO shine with their high-quality workmanship and match the original almost completely in terms of shape and color. First choice for a restoration in original condition. PIAGGIO prefers to use black and dark blue for large-frame models.
Unless otherwise indicated, all Single Seats are made of high-quality, weatherproof synthetic leather.
Single Saddles of the Vespa 125 VNB1-5 / 150 VBA/VBB/GL/T4 as well as 125 VNB6/GT/Super / 150 Super / Sprint V are bolted to the mounting holes of the Tank and Seat. Due to the analogous tank/frame shape of the models, they are interchangeable and also fit all Vespa 160 GS / 180 SS / Rally / PX80-200 / PE / Lusso models. All Single Seats have a Grab Rail for the pillion rider. Spring firmness can be adjusted via a central spring under the Frame Single Saddle. Single Seats from the original PIAGGIO and PASCOLI accessory range differ only in the shape of the stirrups and the number of rivets. Basically:
- Vespa 125 VNB1-5 / 150 VBA/VBB/GL/T4: Straight stirrup / Cover with Ring / 2 or 3 Rivets
- Vespa 125 VNB6 / GT / Super / 150 Super / Sprint V: Curved stirrup / cover closed / without Rivets
