"m.flash" Indicator Relay by MOTOGADGET – an extremely compact, load-independent Indicator Relay for LED, halogen, and custom indicators.

The “m.flash” Indicator Relay from MOTOGADGET is one of the smallest load-independent Indicator Relays on the market. This Indicator Relay replaces conventional Indicator Relays and is ideal for custom scooters, custom motorcycles, and conversions with very limited space. Bulky standard Indicator Relays or additional load resistors are now a thing of the past.

With dimensions of just 18 x 13 x 9.5 mm and a weight of approximately 4 g, the m.flash can be installed virtually anywhere, e.g., in the Steering Head, in the Frame, or directly in the Wiring Loom. Connection is very simple via two wires connected in series.

The m.flash uses digital semiconductor technology and is controlled by a microprocessor. There are no mechanical parts, coils, or contacts. As a result, the flashing frequency remains constant and accurate, regardless of whether LED indicators, micro indicators, halogen indicators, 10-watt, or 21-watt indicators are used. The relays operate virtually independently of load starting at 1 watt and work with four turn signals as well as with two handlebar-end turn signals.

Thanks to the electronic control, the indicators light up immediately, brightly, and without power loss. The fully encapsulated casing makes the m.flash waterproof and vibration-resistant. Additionally, the Relays are short-circuit-proof, feature automatic overload protection, and can switch up to 100 watts of power. No significant heat is generated during operation. The operating voltage ranges from 5–18 V, making the m.flash suitable for 6-V Indicators as well.

The m.flash replaces an Indicator Relay. In terms of the electrical circuit, this Relay is typically located before the Indicator Switch. The easiest approach is to locate the original Relay and replace it with the m.flash.
