Handlebar for Vespa Smallframe Models as a complete replacement for damaged or broken original parts.
If the Handlebar is damaged or even breaks in a fall, it must never be welded for safety reasons. In this case, only a quick and complete replacement will help. An intact Handlebar is a safety-relevant component and indispensable for reliable vehicle control.
Three variants are available for this purpose: a Handlebar for the Vespa 50 N with round Headlight Unit and small Speedometer, the slightly larger Handlebar of the PV and ET3 Models with oval Speedometer and the slightly inclined Handlebar of the 50/90 SS. Throttle and Gear Tubes, designed for 4-speed Models, as well as the Cable Bracket are already pre-assembled on all Handlebars. The hole for the Ignition Lock is missing on the ET3 models and must be added if required.
The Smallframe Handlebars are easily interchangeable. For example, a Vespa 50 Special with trapezoidal handlebars can be visually converted with a V50 N round handlebar, while the narrow handlebars of the 50/90 SS are particularly suitable for replica conversions.

- It is best to order new Screws for the Steering Head, suitable Plates and a Steering Head Bearing Set at the same time.
Note: For all replica handlebars, there may be wider tolerances in the diameter of the head tube socket, depending on the production batch. If the diameter is too small, do not force the handlebar onto the head tube, as this may cause cracks. In this case, the head tube socket must be expanded or reamed to the correct size.
If the diameter is too large, there is a risk of breakage if the headset screw is tightened too tightly—beyond 45 Nm.
Never use excessive force when installing the headset bolt. In some cases, the primer inside the hole is applied too thickly. On some models, the hole for the handlebar stem screw may also be too close to the Steering Column. This can be remedied with a suitable round file: rework the hole by about 3 mm until the screw can be inserted without force.
We inspect 100% of all Steering Heads for the correct dimensions and also send them to a specialized German workshop to adjust them to the exact diameter of the PIAGGIO, RMS, and CIF Steering Columns. We carry these Handlebars under the SERIE PRO logo.
Note: The Handlebar is only partially compatible when used with original parts. Minor adjustments to the Handlebar may be necessary.
