MALOSSI Crankshaft for Vespa Smallframe Models – designed for heavy loads, high RPMs, and extreme stress.

MALOSSI is a manufacturer known for high quality, innovative solutions, and technical expertise—qualities that are also evident in the MALOSSI crankshafts for Vespa small-frame models. The crankshaft journals are made of high-quality, hardened 18 Ni Cr Mo5 steel. The upper connecting rod eye tapers upward. This results in a good balance between stability and weight, while also ensuring effective cooling of the Gudgeon Pin Bearing.

The installed Needle Bearing is designed for high loads and speeds. Using tungsten weights, the rotary valve shaft is dynamically balanced up to a speed of 16,000 rpm.

The Primary Driven Gear’s fitting features a fine thread, enabling a higher tightening torque. A 51 mm stroke and a connecting rod length of 97 mm correspond to the original dimensions.
