VERTEX pistons for MALOSSI 210 Sport and MHR cylinder kits—lighter, graphite-coated, and compatible with older 210 kits as well.
The MALOSSI 210 Sport and MHR cylinder kits have been shipped with a graphite-coated VERTEX piston since 2016. Graphite as a surface coating reduces friction and provides a certain degree of emergency running capability if the piston ever seizes.
Compared to the previous ASSO piston, the VERTEX piston weighs approximately 10% less. In addition, the piston skirt is shorter. As a result, the piston no longer needs to be shortened at the bottom when using 60-mm long-stroke crankshafts. The piston windows are larger and significantly better adapted to the ports. The piston can be used in all MALOSSI 210 cylinder kits, including older versions.
Note: The pistons are assigned to the cylinder kits by letters, e.g., 0, A, B, etc. We recommend always using a piston with the same designation as the Cylinder—for example, an A piston with an A Cylinder. On MALOSSI cylinder kits, the corresponding letter is stamped on the cylinder base near the sealing surface.

- When replacing the piston, replace the gaskets and connecting rod bearings at the same time.
