If the scooter is to get more speed and "bite" when starting off, there is often no way around the correct clutch setting - and this is exactly where Clutch Springs come in.

Above a certain speed, the centrifugal force ensures that the Clutch Shoe moves outwards and engages in the Clutch Bell, which transmits the power to the transmission. Harder Socket Springs delay the reaction of the linings to the centrifugal force: The frictional connection with the clutch bell only occurs at higher engine speeds - resulting in a significantly more aggressive starting behavior.

Small but crucial tuning part: useful for adjusting the clutch speed, e.g. when using a tuning exhaust system. The kit consists of 3-4 sets of Springs of different thicknesses (color-coded) and matches the original clutch.

TECHNICAL TIP: The spring hardness (thickness of the spring wire) of the Clutch Springs can be used to control the traction. With hard Springs, the Clutch only engages at higher engine speeds, giving the Engine more traction when driving off.
