Titanium screws and nuts made of Ti-6Al-4V Grade 5—lightweight, high-strength, corrosion-resistant, and ideal for high-quality lightweight tuning.
In motorsports, vehicle weight is just as crucial as engine performance. In addition to aluminum and carbon fiber, titanium is being used more and more frequently today. Although screws and nuts account for only a fraction of a vehicle’s total weight, every detail counts in lightweight tuning.
With a weight reduction of up to 40% compared to conventional steel screws, titanium screws and nuts provide the finishing touch when it comes to weight savings. At the same time, their variety of colors gives them a significantly higher-quality appearance than standard off-the-shelf components.
We offer titanium bolts and nuts in a wide variety of types and sizes. All are made from Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5, a material also used in the aerospace industry. In addition to its low weight, titanium offers further advantages such as high corrosion and temperature resistance. The tensile strength of titanium screws is approximately 950 N/mm², which is about four times higher than that of stainless steel screws. It corresponds roughly to strength class 10.9.
