Standard flywheels have suffered the same sad fate as standard stator plates, they are almost extinct!

We do our best to have PIAGGIO flywheels in stock for every VESPA model, and for the small frame models and the PX/T5 range this is still the case. For the older Large/Wide frame contact breaker ignition models this is regrettably no longer possible. As a viable substitute we stock several models of flywheel produced by the Indian manufacturer BAJAJ. The price is very reasonable, the quality sufficient. If we cannot supply a brand new flywheel we recommend having the existing one repaired or replaced with an electronic ignition. Flywheels with removable cooling fins are called magnetos
