The 'Wideband Lambda Display' from KOSO is a genuine high-tech device, enabling the fine tuning of your motor and carburettor set up. The fuel-mix can be perfectly optimised to squeeze the last drops of potential power from the cylinder.
A lambda sensor measures the amount of oxygen remaining in the exhaust gases following combustion, which provides a clear indication of the efficiency of the fuel-mix. Lambda sensors are standard on all modern four-stroke vehicle engines. Their function is similar, but where they are part of a system that continuously adjusts the fuel-mix over the fuel injector module a two-stroke motor requires manual adjustment of the carburettors main jet.
It is also important to include an interference-suppressed spark plug to avoid affecting the data measured by the sensor.
The KOSO Wideband Lambda Display is delivered as a complete kit, with all the necessary components and full instructions included, plug & play!
The sensor requires a DC power supply, so it would be a good idea to organise a battery, unless one is already fitted to the scooter!
