Solution for application to the skin for hygienic hand disinfection
Application:
The SONAX Hand disinfectant (approx. 3 ml) into the dry, cupped hand - rub in vigorously up to the wrists for at least 30 seconds. Keep hands moist for the entire exposure time - add more disinfectant accordingly. Rub hands inside and out, especially fingertips, thumbs, nail folds and wrists.
Effectiveness:
Due to its composition (content > 62% ethanol), the product should be effective against bacteria as well as enveloped and non-enveloped viruses (e.g. coronavirus/SARS-CoV-2).
Advice:
Do not use on mucous membranes. Do not use in the immediate vicinity of the eyes or open wounds. Slight skin irritation or allergic reactions may occur when rubbed into the skin.
Use biocidal products with care. Always read the label and product information before use.
Hygienic hand disinfection - instructions
Remove rings, Clocks, Bracelets and other hand jewelry before disinfecting. Carefully remove any visible dirt. Then proceed as follows:
1. Wet your dry hands with the solution (approx. 3-5 ml) or with the wet wipe (leave the wet wipe between your hands as you proceed).
2. Place your palms on top of each other and spread the disinfectant over the palms.
3. Grasp your wrists and rub in a circular motion.
4. Rub your right hand over the back of your left hand and vice versa. Spread your fingers apart. This will also disinfect the spaces between your fingers.
5. Place the palms of your hands on top of each other and rub in the disinfectant. Again, make sure you also wet the spaces between the fingers.
6. Rub the outside of the fingers on the palm of the other hand and clasp your hands together.
7. Then enclose one thumb with the other hand and rub it in. Then disinfect the thumb of the other hand in the same way.
8. Finally, rub the fingertips in the palm of the other hand.
