With increasing mileage, the material abrasion on the V-Belt Pulley ensures that the Belt is subjected to greater stress, wears out more quickly and the risk of a tear increases. If clear signs of abrasion or running edges become visible, the V-Belt Pulley should be replaced in good time to ensure a clean frictional connection, constant transmission ratio and the service life of the Belt.
