Cables are among the most important wear-and-tear and replacement parts on a scooter and should be checked regularly and replaced in a timely manner.
Broken cables are a nuisance on every ride. Stiff cables strain your nerves and tendons, and frayed cables must be replaced. Therefore, it’s recommended to replace the cables regularly, both during a restoration and as part of routine maintenance.
We carry only high-quality cables, which we also use on our own scooters. They are available as individual cables, as cables with a Cover, and optionally with a PTFE Cover. Differences exist in length and diameter, as well as in the appearance and color of the Cover. Some throttle, Choke, and Brake Cables are also model-specific.
Cables with PTFE covers are particularly well-suited for tight routing radii and are very easy to operate. The inner track of the cover has a special coating, which improves the cable’s smooth operation and extends its service life. These cables should not be lubricated additionally.

- Order Cable Nipples and new Adjusting Screws at the same time. All cables except PTFE versions should be lubricated with Oil or Grease.
Clutch cable:
With barrel nipple: For attachment to the clutch lever, screw nipple PART No 94220000 is also required for the rear end.
With pear nipple: For attachment to the clutch lever, screw nipple PART No 6220000 is required for the upper end, and screw nipple PART No 94220000 is also required for the rear end.
