The CDI can also be used as a Rev Limiter via the toggle switch and throttle the scooter in an emergency. This CDI is particularly useful for tuned Engines, as the variable pre-ignition is clearly noticeable there.

MINARELLI engines typically use YAMAHA flywheels. However, some models also used flywheels from FACIND MITSUBA or DUCATI. Unfortunately, it is not possible to determine the exact model based on the chassis number.
