This high quality speedometer in a classically Italian style design harmonises well with the VESPA 50 Special square shaped headset. White lettering on a black background offers a colour contrast that is easily noticeable and does not clash with the colour styling of your particular scooter. Depending on the version ordered, you have the choice of the hexagonal PIAGGIO symbol, the VEGLIA BORETTI or the Classic logo. Both speedometers are delivered complete with a chromed mounting surround.

We also offer a device to check the real speed for the "fast small frames" with speeds of over 80 km/h. This speedometer is required for registration on 125cc (and above): with 120 km/h, 140 km/h or 160 km/g scale.

The speedometer is also ideal for retro fitting to certain VESPA models originally meant for the Italian market which were available from the factory without a speedometer fitted. All that you need order is a suitable speedometer drive gear for the front wheel and a speedometer drive cable to link it all together.
