SIP PERFORMANCE goes to the head of the class.
These newly designed heads are made entirely of CNC milled aluminum. It's finely burnished and optimised surface, as well as additional horizontal cooling ribs, assure ideal surface protection and improved heat dispersion. A stabilizing plateau works as reinforcement, while a KOSO KOOR14 temperature sensor can be attached to measure this head's temperature. A high quality, tight sealing O-ring replaces the head gasket. The advantages are obvious: improved sealing, no gasket slippage and no additional anit-pinking edges. Combustion chamber, bore and compression are aligned to the MALOSSI 211 - this sensational head is the direct result of year long research for an optimal product - tried and tested on our own material. The SIP Performance cylinder heads are perfect for both daily usage and long distance runs.
The 57 mm version fits all shafts with original stroke. If a long stroke shaft with 60 mm stroke is used, 1.5 mm will have to be adjusted with head and or base gaskets. 1.5 mm base gasket = higher speeds, 1.5 mm head gasket = more torque. Pros adjust the 1.5 mm with a combination of thicknesses of head and base gaskets.
The 60 mm version is made for torque. It should be used with a 60 mm long stroke shaft. Here, gasket adjustment is unnecessary due to the exact fit of the combustion chamber.
The developer version is for all those who were held back from upgrading their head form and spark plug position of the original head. A clever solution here: the head is delivered without plug thread and combustion chamber. The spark thread can now be bored either in the middle or from side.
Results: for those who want more than the average product and know their way around machine tools and are good with their hands, individual compression, combustion chamber forms and squish band are theirs for the making.
